It's Not Virat Kohli; KL Rahul,Ravindra Jadeja's Fitness Postpones India's Squad Announcement For Upcoming Tests Against England

While there are a lot of rumours circulating about why the team for the final three Test matches against England hasn't been announced, the most recent reports verify that Virat Kohli's availability isn't the cause of the hold-up, as one might have assumed. According to a report in Sports Tak, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja's fitness is the reason for the delay of the Indian squad announcement.

Not just Kohli, there are doubts over World No. 1 pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s availability as well. According to some reports, he might be rested after considering the management of the workload. The manager has, however, given the player the freedom to choose whether or not to participate in the third Test. The Rajkot Test will begin after more than ten days off for the Indian cricket team.

As the visitors set up camp in Abu Dhabi ahead of the series, the England team is currently there, spending time with their families. On Wednesday, they will return to the city by plane.

Before the third Test match against England begins on February 15, Team India will gather in Rajkot on February 12 and hold their first training session the following day.

India's squad for the Rajkot Test is as follows: Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Mukesh Kumar, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja/Washington Sundar, Sarfaraz Khan, Mohammed Siraj, Saurabh Kumar, KL Rahul, Rajat Patidar, Srikar Bharat (wk), Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah.
